Fargo, ND (WDAY TV) - A woman wanted by the U.S. Marshal Service is in custody, thanks in part to a team of bounty hunters.
We followed the Northern Bounty Fugitive Enforcement team as they led local police to the arrest.
Earlier in this neighborhood, Fargo police arrested Jessica Jones, wanted by the U.S. Marshal Service on drug and weapons charges.
A group of bounty hunters helped track her down, after finding out she may be with a man they were looking for.
The search for a man who skipped out on court led authorities to a bigger arrest - all with the help of some bounty hunters.
Anthony Greeno of Charleston, South Carolina has been in the Fargo-Moorhead area for a few weeks, helping Northern Bounty Fugitive Enforcement capture fugitives.
They found out a man they've been looking for had a high-profile cohort.
Anthony Greeno- Fugitive Enforcement Agent: "We got word that he was with one of the U.S. Marshals most-wanted females, so we are going to work with Fargo PD and try to get her apprehended, as well."
She is Jessica Jones wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service on drug possession and concealed weapons charges
Tanner Olson- Northern Bounty Fugitive: "She's got methamphetamine charges as well, she's just a troublemaker in the Fargo-Moorhead area, and we’re just trying to hunt her down."
They met up with police and went looking for the pair with the help of an anonymous informant.
Minutes later, police had Jones in custody; the man the bounty hunters were originally looking for was nowhere to be found.
But Greeno says they are glad to see any wanted criminal in handcuffs.
Greeno: "I like getting criminals off of the street people that are hiding, ducking from the law that are a danger to society, drug dealers, child molesters. I don't want them on the street, I have a family to protect."
Greeno has his own reality show about his bounty hunting efforts back in Charleston, called "Southern Bounty Hunter.'Talk about it
